Throat Infection Low Temperature Chemo Patient Coming Down With A Cold?

Chemo patient coming down with a cold? - throat infection low temperature

My mother is undergoing chemotherapy. She knows she must take into infections, because the white blood cell count is so low. The nurses were asked to keep an eye infection and the phone immediately if sore throat or keep the temperature rises above the normal one. It will now come with a cold and do not know if you need to contact the nurses at the hospital together, so they know their temperature goes well, and feels very bad. On contact with the hospital, while the temperature is right?

Every time I called, just to be on the safe side. More than likely they will tell you that plenty of fluids and monitor their Tempature often and regularly. But my opinion is just called Incase. If nothing else is a record of what happened was, where if you get sick later.

It can not hurt to let them know his opinion, a cold. It may have some suggestions, not a bad idea, just to let you know it. That said, I think it has to come out or something. You could run for them, which may take the medications for colds for them to be good. It is always a good idea of what you run during chemotherapy - supplements, vitamins, over-the-counter - the sister of chemotherapy and / or oncologist.

I came with a cold during my third cycle of chemotherapy. Standard was just a cold neck - Sore, slight fever, stuffy nose. I'm pretty fast. My oncologist basically shrugged his shoulders and did not try. (I got Neulasta each treatment, however, I have never been charged under conditions other than Mand counting cells and platelets mi.)

The call and see what they say. Where's the harm? Always call me, when I felt a cold or cough or something. I call and say they do not feel well, she has a cold, what to do.

I had a cold once and said, ok, no problem. But again, I was the development of pneumonia and immediately gave me antibiotics.

It is very important so they know immediately, we suggest what would be good against the cold, it would be good for them if they get sick and fights against cancer, the fight unpleasant. I hope these beats. God bless
