Keyless Touchpad Lock How Do You Reprogram The Keyless Entry Touch Pad On A 1997 Ford Windstar?

How do you reprogram the keyless entry touch pad on a 1997 Ford Windstar? - keyless touchpad lock

We bought the car used and do not come with owner's manual or the key on the remote control door lock.

I had the opportunity to buy the keychain on eBay that comes with your own set of instructions for programming, but the truck is also equipped with the keyless door touchpad driver side.

I have no idea how to program the new system and not that the instructions will Keychain believe in any way.

I would appreciate it if you can offer assistance.

The entire chapter on the keyless-entry (begins on page 136), under-loadable manual.
I am referring.
It is the permanent code to program your own. The chapter indicates that it is the code in 3 locations permanently:
1 - in a white plastic card (but since he did not have the manual, it is unlikely that you get the card)
Is 2-a white sticker in the glove box (the original owners and was told to move on the label, so that when it is in white / on a vehicle)
3-module, glued to the computer. This is probably where you permanat SU can find the code.

Here is the link to download (keep in mind is to store on your computer) the user manual for your Ford Windstar 1997

I drove a Ford Explorer 99 and the manual indicates that the number will not be reprogrammed. This is a 5-digit code at the periphery and two key figures on the pad. The only thing left to play with him, but a couple of seconds to wait between each attempt, the RESET can. Hope this helps

Order the manual (which are cheap and you need it) by the manufacturer. Until they receive from the service department of your local dealer for assistance. You can recover it for free.
